This organization was formed with the consent of Dignity/Columbus and DignityUSA and serves at their continuing endorsement. This club is integrally associated with Dignity/Columbus, although our membership may be distinct. We are affiliated with DefendersUSA - the national outreach of DignityUSA to the leather/levi community. Although we govern ourselves independently, we share a common purpose with other Defenders Clubs throughout the USA and seek communion with them. The Ohio Chapter of Defenders was formed in 2000 with impetus from the Denver Defenders, who were willing to extend affiliative membership to provide initial support. For that reason, the Ohio Chapter considers Defenders Denver as its Mentor Chapter.
