Members must be at least twenty-one years of age, must support the purpose of the Defenders, must value the way of Christ, and must share common interests with the leather/levi community. Pledges for membership must secure a regular member in good standing to sponsor them, and must attend and participate in Defenders functions until the sponsor recommends the pledge for full membership. After attending two such events and a public expression of support for the purpose and aims of this Club, the Pledge will be permitted to wear the small Defenders patch.

There are two kinds of membership –"regular" and "affiliate" . Regular members will affirm the recommendation to accept new membership by a majority vote.
