Any Defender who has been a full or associate member of Defenders for at least five years, and has held elective office for at least one, if eligible, can be considered for honorary membership. Honorary life membership in the Defenders may be conferred on an individual by a 90% vote of the regular members. Such membership confers all the privileges of regular membership, except voting, making motions and holding office, without any of the obligations of membership except dues. This is an extraordinary action for the Club. Honorary members will wear the regular patch.
