Selection of Leadership will be in October of each year. Leadership positions shall be determined by the membership as appropriate. Individuals in leadership must be a member in good standing. In general, these shall consist of:

• a President who will convene and lead the conduct of business of the Club and shall publicly represent the Club in the larger arena. The President must be a member in good standing of a Dignity Chapter.
• a Secretary/Treasurer who will serve as the recording officer and custodian of all records including financial accounts.

Leaders of Defenders/Ohio may also hold a leadership role in Dignity at the local, regional or national level; and in Defenders USA.
